Oliver French is a Partner in the Leasehold Reform & Litigation department acting for both landlords and tenants in enfranchisement claims, giving expert witness evidence, and undertaking residential valuations for litigation purposes.
Prior to joining Knight Frank, Oliver was head of the enfranchisement team at another global firm, where he had been employed for 14 years in which time he has worked as part of the team responsible for the strategic asset management of a London portfolio, carried out annual portfolio valuations, providing expert witness valuations for third party determinations, loan security, and tax valuations.
Oliver specialises in Leasehold Enfranchisement valuations and has given expert evidence before the Leasehold Valuation Tribunal, First-tier Tribunal, and Upper Tribunal on many occasions representing either landlords or leaseholders. In June 2015 he won the Valuer of the Year award at the News On The Block Enfranchisement Awards and in July 2015 was listed in the Hot 100 in the Enfranchisement sector. He qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 2004 and is also an Accredited RICS Valuer.
