Emma joined Knight Frank LLP in 1993 and has specialised in providing advice to the owners of institutional properties since that time. Her client base includes plcs, banks, schools and colleges, through to charities and
private individuals as well as administrators and receivers.

Emma’s experience encompasses both professional and agency including valuations, appraisals, disposals,
acquisitions and Charities Act compliance in respect of the following property types; training/conference centres,schools/colleges, former nursing/care homes,convents/monasteries, retirement/sheltered housing and any other institutional property.

Given the diverse potential of these properties the focus of much advice in relation to these properties is on
identifying their development potential, adding value and ensuring compliance with the Charities Act where
relevant.
