Jeremy heads up our Leasehold Reform & Litigation department. He specialises in advising Landlords and Tenants on premiums for statutory lease extensions and freehold collective enfranchisements of flats in accordance with the Leasehold Reform, Housing & Urban Development Act 1993, and for enfranchisements of houses under the Leasehold Reform Act 1967. He takes pride in delivering a professional service and achieving the best deals in negotiations, whilst having an open and commercial outlook in applying the legislation. He works with many leading solicitors and barristers and has appeared as an expert witness at the First-Tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal.
In addition, he undertakes valuations in connection with negligence claims and other expert witness work where litigation is involved. He has been Highly Commended as an expert witness at the Enfranchisement and Right to Manage Awards and chairs Knight Frank’s Litigation Forum, drawing together expertise from around the Firm.
A Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 1996, he is also an Accredited RICS Valuer, affiliated with their Residential and Valuation Groups.
