_Knight Frank completes second drive for Ukrainian Action
15 employees from Knight Frank’s London HQ completed a 1,000-mile drive between 10th-12th February 2023 in support of Ukrainian Action, a non-profit organisation dedicated to helping victims of the Ukraine War.
Knight Frank’s team spent 3 days driving 10 trucks and vans from London to Wroclaw, Poland, via France, Belgium and Germany. Inside the vehicles were generators, cleaning wipes, clothing, duvets, and other essential humanitarian and medical aid supplies.
Upon reaching Poland, the trucks and supplies were handed over to Ukrainian and Polish representatives of Ukrainian Action, who then transported them across the border. The supplies will be distributed to Ukrainian residents and displaced citizens affected by the war as swiftly as possible.
This is Knight Frank’s second time supporting the charity; in September 2022, 11 employees volunteered to drive in support of Ukrainian Action.
Philip Gardner, Group Head of Strategy Risk & Operations at Knight Frank, said:
“Once again, it has been a truly humbling experience to drive critical aid supplies from London to Wroclaw on behalf of Ukrainian Action. The charity is doing incredible humanitarian work supporting civilians and displaced people on the front lines of this awful conflict. We were delighted to play our small part by standing in solidarity with the innocent people of Ukraine, who are living through unimaginable turmoil.”
In addition to volunteering 20 hours of drive time to be part of the convoy from London to Wroclaw, the team from Knight Frank also undertook additional fundraising ahead of their trip. The group raised a further £15,000 collectively, which will be donated to Ukrainian Action to help the charity complete more future missions.
