_Knight Frank appoints Tom van Straubenzee to head new Global Wealth team 

Tom has worked in the London property market for the last 15 years. Having qualified as a chartered surveyor with Strutt & Parker, he set up property agency VanHan with his business partner Rory Penn. 

Founded six years ago, VanHan specialised in high-end residential and commercial real estate and completed nearly one hundred deals for an international client base, included six properties over £40M.

VanHan was nominated five times by Spears Wealth for London Property Advisor of the Year and won the best ‘High-Value Estate Agency’ of the year.

Earlier this year Knight Frank acquired VanHan with Tom and Rory joining a propriety partners to build and promote the new Private Office platform. 

Tom is interested in music, wildlife and conservation. He is strongly committed to his family charity ‘The Henry van Straubenzee Memorial Fund’ which supports 44 schools in Uganda.
