It’s been a busy year for our Logistics & Industrial teams who specialise in both property acquisitions and disposals across all sectors of the UK market. We take a look at some of our recent and most notable transactions in our latest Multi-Let Track Record.
Legal & General
Acting on behalf of Legal & General, we advised on the rebranding, refurbishment and letting of a number of voids across a 29 unit multi-let scheme totalling 503,000 sq ft. During the last few months six units have been let or are under offer on this well positioned estate in Brentford, with two units available of up to 33,000 sq ft.

UK Land Estate
In Newcastle, we supported UK Land Estates on the Tyne Tunnel Estate in North Shields. The estate consists of a 95 unit multi-let industrial site with units ranging from 2,700 sq ft to 103,000 sq ft and a mixture of refurbished stock dating back to 1970s as well as newer trade park and high bay units.
We advised on all aspects of agency from the strategic rollout of refurbishment across the estate to new development and contributed to the letting of circa 60 units (over 650,000 sq ft) since the first phase of refurbishment. We have successfully helped reposition the estate as one of the premier estates in North Tyneside.

St Modwen Developments
Finally, we are assisting with master planning and unit design in Phase 5 of a wider 212 acre brown field development for St Modwen Developments in Bristol, consisting of 18 units totalling 423,000 sq ft, with letting and sales of units from 6,000-150,000 sq ft being concluded to local and national occupiers.
We have recently set new rental levels for the market, with this scheme being at the forefront of moving the focus for the prime industrial market from North Bristol to Avonmouth.

We have concluded close to 500 deals across a full range of unit sizes, with over 11m sq ft transacted in the last 12 months, making 2018 a record year.
We have seen a strong performance across our UK network and our expertise on Multi-Let estates remains the key focus of our activities, and is a market sector where we see a continued lack of good quality stock and limited new build to address this demand.
